Crystal White Bees aka Ghost Bees – are still somewhat rare – Not many hobbyists keep them – Not many are photographed – check google or youtube and you will get the picture – or lack of! lol
So here I am to proudly advocate for these little jewels-
With a clean opaque white body featuring dashes of random striping- these unique shrimp are active and prolific. Truly a joy to watch as they making their way around the tank – Stunningly vibrant on dark substrate, you can see them from across the room. The beauty and elegance of the white can be better appreciated in person then just by looking at photos.
Since these are BEE shrimp – they WILL interbreed with other bees – and lose the ghost effect. Its best to keep them in their own tank seperate from other Bee shrimp to ensure you are keeping the line pure. Kept in standard bee parameters – they are easy to care for especially for someone who is venturing into Caridina Shrimp for the first time, these would be a wonderful choice.
Overall, I’d say these are in a league of their own. In the world of shrimp where there are so many color variations and patterns – these are stand outs. I am proud to say I have a tank full of these amazing Ghost Bee Shrimp.
